Dexter Lake Club Band drummer performing with Miike Snow!
Big Congrats to our drummer Gunnar who is performing some shows with Miike Snow.
The Dexter Lake Club Band has shared the stage with tons of top artists and performers. Members of the band have recorded, performed, and toured with Bruce Springsteen, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Norah Jones, M. Ward, Hamilton Leithauser, Regina Spektor, the Walkmen and many more. Our drummer Gunner filled in on the last leg of the Miike Snow tour, and this one is definitely at the top of the list. Congrats to our man Gunnar who rocks equally hard whether he is playing for a festival crowd, a wedding reception, or at home for his cat.
Here is some drum-cam video of the show at the Firefly Festival.
Dexter Lake Club Band interview in Whalebone Magazine
Hamptons Lifestyle Magazine
We’re interviewed in the new issue of Whalebone Magazine, which is without question the Hampton’s coolest magazine. Had a great time talking to them about our history, absurd things we’ve seen on the dance floors of the world and which songs are bulletproof late night. Here’s a bit from the article “These guys absolutely crushed the jams, leading 98% of the celebration’s attendees into war on the dance floor. We didn’t get a chance to catch up with them after the event for both obvious and not-so-obvious reasons, but we’re glad we followed up.” You can read the whole interview here: http://whalebonemag.com/dexter-lake-club-qa/
We also had a great time rocking Whalebone’s one-year anniversary party at the Montauk Yacht Club one of the most beautiful venues on the East End of Long Island.
This clip from the party speaks for itself:

Hamiton Leithauser and Rostam have a fantastic new record out, I Had A Dream That You Were Mine. Songs from that record have been featured at the Super Bowl and in the commercial for the new iPhone 7 .
Hamilton is touring the new record now with a killer band including members of the White Rabbits and Spoon. Click Here for video of Tim’s sax solo with Hamilton and Rostam from their sold out shows at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY. This song is called Rough Going.

Christmas Tree Lighting at Rockefeller Center 2016
Dexter Lake Club Band backing up Sarah McLachlan
We were featured on NBC’s 2016 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Special! Dexter Lake Club Band’s guitarist and keyboardist backed up singer Sarah McLachlan. Sarah sang selections from her new Christmas album Wonderland. Check out the picture below of Sarah and the guys performing Winter Wonderland.
Two of our band members, Jamie and Oscar, had the pleasure of backing up French singer/model/actress Lou Doillon on the CBS This Morning show earlier today. Check out the performance here!
Nice feature on one of our favorite weddings from 2015 in the new edition of the Knot. We had an excellent time working with Lauren Fishman events on this one. Click read more to read the article
Congratulations again Jason and Allie!
Our bass player, Jamie, recently shared the stage with Karen O. and Nick Zinner from the Yeah, Yeah, Yeah’s at NYC’s Joe’s Pub for a show with Jamie’s old friend and bandmate, Walter Martin (the Walkmen). Walter has a great new record out called We’re All Young Together featuring Karen, Nick, and members of the National and Clap Your Hands and Say Yeah (Jamie plays the record too!). Well worth a listen!
